About the project
Marilia de Andrade is a dancer, choreographer, and social psychologist — daughter of Oswald de Andrade — whose life intertwines dance repertoire, Unicamp legacy, gender studies, and open cultural writing. The archive had to hold that breadth without becoming a crowded scrapbook.
In collaboration with Estúdio OKA we built an Astro personal archive covering profile and timeline, dance lineage (Isadora Duncan work, Estúdio XXI, DACO, landmark spectacles), culture and gender chapters, solidary crafts, Oswald de Andrade, and an open space for ongoing essays, plus contact and credits.
The development approach was calm structure: dance and research equally visible, editorial chapters that can grow, and a personal-brand presence that feels archival rather than promotional — a lifetime held in readable order.
