Nexus

An art project where artwork, research, social engagement, and documentation stay interwoven in one structure.

Give Maria Gouveli’s Nexus practice a digital home that feels like a plexus: correlated elements mapped dynamically, without hard walls between art, research, and documentation.

Nexus - Art Project Platform

About the project

Nexus is Maria Gouveli’s art project without hard dividing lines — artwork, research, social engagement, and documentation stay interwoven, like a plexus. Greece 2024 and the Turning the tide chapter needed a digital home that respects that structure instead of forcing a rigid portfolio grid.

We developed a Next.js project site with an editorial, mapping-led narrative: correlated elements presented dynamically, a clear entry into the Nexus body of work, and studio contact with geographic context. The information architecture follows the practice, not a template CV.

The solution gives Nexus a cohesive digital presence — research and art readable side by side, navigation that feels exploratory rather than siloed, and a direct path for studio contact when the work opens conversation.
